In 2009, Mario pioneered one of London’s first rent guarantee schemes through Caridon Property, laying the foundation for a group of companies united by a shared vision, to challenge conventional thinking in social housing and make a lasting impact. Guided by strong social values and a commitment to economic viability, he continues to drive innovation in affordable housing, ensuring sustainable, long-term solutions and is committed to creating a positive impact on society.

Beyond property, Mario has strategic interests in sectors including social care, childcare services, information technology, commercial finance, and environmental initiatives. Under his leadership, Caridon Group has expanded rapidly, delivering high-quality homes to over 30 boroughs across London and the Southeast. Privately funded and focused on social impact, the Group has set an ambitious goal of developing 10,000 homes by 2030.
