Caridon was founded in 2009 when our CEO, Mario Carrozzo, recognised a gap in the market. In response to the economic downturn, he pioneered one of London’s first rent guarantee schemes, providing a reliable income for landlords and acting as a guarantor for vulnerable tenants struggling to secure accommodation.
Since our inception, Caridon has evolved into a dynamic group of companies, all driven by a shared goal to redefine social housing and challenge conventional beliefs about what’s possible. Grounded in strong social values and a commitment to economic viability, we are dedicated to creating a positive impact on society.
We have built, procured, and delivered high-quality homes across more than 30 boroughs in London and the Southeast. We have provided housing for tens of thousands of people. Privately funded with a focus on social impact, our ambitious goal is to develop over 10,000 homes by 2030. Collaborations with local governments and communities empower us to deliver innovative, sustainable housing solutions as part of regeneration projects.

Our founding company, Caridon Property is the award-winning rent guarantee and management arm of the Caridon Group.
